Preparations for LFCC

So, next weekend is London Film and Comic Convention, and I will be working, representing Peavey. I'll be helping out our distributors at Urban Species, who sell an awful lot of wonderfully nerdy gear, if you haven't already check them out here.
Now I had originally planned on going as Sonic the Hedgehog, but I slightly changed my mind, thanks to one of the guys I work with. I decided the unitard that I'd planned on painting blue and white for sonic is going to be painted totally blue and I was going to go as Mystique instead. This proved to be a really long-winded incredibly slow process
At first I figured it'd be nice and easy, you know, paint my costume blue and draw on some scales, y'know, how hard can it be??
Well, it turned out to be very hard, and unfortunately both me and James have been a little bit ill over the last week, so the last thing I really wanted to do was spend hours putting scales on the damn costume.
After much discussion at work we finally came up with such a blindingly simple solution, black leggings, black t-shirt, killer heels, belt, Catwoman. Simple, no effort required, and I can get some early nights! It may be a slight cop out, but it just means I have a Mystique costume I can work on for NICE in Bedford in September!
