Sonic The Hedgehog Cosplay.

I'm sitting at college doing a lot of nothing, so I thought I'd share a post with you about my idea for a cosplay that I may have to use if I attend the London Film and Comic Con.

As I dyed my hair blue after Leicester Comic Con I can no longer rock the Harley Quinn costume that I used that day, so I've had to put some serious thought into a character that I could cosplay as.
Ideally I wanted to go as a Marvel or DC character because that's my area of speciality. I'm not an anime/manga fan so it seemed pointless to me to go as a character I'd never heard of before, and then I discovered that there are no Marvel or DC female characters with blue hair. aside from the Atlanteans, but lets be honest, they suck.
After much thinking and wondering if it would be worth buying a wig, Corey came up with the answer:
Sonic the Hedgehog!

So that's what I've decided on.

It's really a very simple costume to put together, I'm thinking just a flesh coloured leotard, some blue latex for legs, neck and shoulders, and a funky headpiece.

 

I'm really looking forward to putting this costume together, if I'm working LFCC I will be attending without James which in some ways is a good thing because it means I haven't got to worry about sorting his costume out at short notice, but if I attend and do take James I'm hoping to be able to dress him up as Tails, and once again he'll look totally adorable, the only thing is, what do I do with the pram?
